About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced B2B SaaS Inside Sales Manager to join our Customer Acquisition team. You will be responsible for building a pipeline, generating significant sales, and developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth for our Asset Bank product. As a key member of the team, you will lead the sales activity, build strong client relationships, and expand our customer base.

This role involves both selling the product and building a team, so is best suited to someone with a player/coach skillset and mentality.

What you will be responsible for:

As our new B2B SaaS Inside Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our Asset Bank product. Initially, you will manage and mentor one sales consultant ensuring they are equipped to meet and exceed their sales targets. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding this team member to develop strong client relationships and deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

As you achieve global growth targets, you will be responsible for building and expanding the sales team. This involves recruiting, training, and developing additional sales representatives to support our expanding customer base. You will create a dynamic and motivated team environment, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

In addition to team management, you will develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth. This includes analysing market trends, identifying new opportunities, and staying informed about competitors. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align strategies and enhance the overall customer experience.

A key aspect of your role will be to improve sales processes and increase lead conversion rates. You will evaluate current sales methodologies, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. By optimising the sales funnel and employing data-driven strategies, you will work to maximise lead conversion and drive sustainable growth.

Your role will also involve monitoring sales performance, presenting detailed reports to management, and providing accurate forecasts to guide business decisions. Your analytical and data-driven approach will ensure that sales strategies are effective and aligned with our overall business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • New Sales: Selling the product to new customers, achieving ambitious targets aligned to company objectives.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a sales consultant, guiding them to meet and exceed sales targets. As growth targets are achieved, recruit, train, and develop additional sales representatives to build and expand the sales team.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth for the Asset Bank product. Analyse market trends and identify new opportunities to stay competitive.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance current sales processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Implement best practices to optimise the sales funnel and increase lead conversion rates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align strategies and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance, present detailed reports to management, and provide accurate forecasts to guide business decisions. Utilise a data-driven approach to ensure sales strategies are effective and aligned with business objectives.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years in a sales management role, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong ability to lead, mentor, and coach a sales team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A data-driven approach to sales strategy and performance evaluation.
  • Commercially minded with negotiation skills
  • A deep understanding and capacity for empathy towards both colleagues and customers.
